NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF JOHNSTOWN, ROCK COUNTY, WI

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning and Zoning Committee of the Town of Johnstown, Rock County, Wisconsin, and the Johnstown Town Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., Johnstown Community Center, 9937 E. County Road A, Janesville Wisconsin to consider the following requests: 

(1) Request from Sandra and Terry Kelly regarding the following described property: 1320 N. Lima Center Road, Whitewater, Wisconsin 53190 to change the current zoning of 2.44 acres from A-1 to RR; This parcel is located in the SW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 22 of the Town of Johnstown, Rock County, Wisconsin. The purpose of this request is to divide 2.44 from the larger parcel. 

(2) Request by Evan M. and Taylor J. Welter for a zoning variance to construct an outbuilding on the property located at: 4441 N. County Road M, Milton, Wisconsin 53563; This parcel is located in the PT W 1/2, SE ¼ of Section 7 of the Town of Johnstown, Rock County, Wisconsin.  

Any person interested and/or affected by this change will be given a chance to express their opinions at this time.
